Lo Brizan offers an unforgettable dining experience, blending exquisite cuisine, impeccable service, and a stunning location. Overlooking the ocean, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, with elegant lamps, treasures, and floral arrangements adorning every table. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, made even more special by the breathtaking views—our dinner coincided with a full moon, which we enjoyed from our window seat.

From the moment we arrived, the service from Hilary and Jeffery and their team was exceptional. The staff were welcoming, professional, and bilingual, effortlessly switching between English and French. Menus were provided promptly, and the servers ensured we felt at ease throughout the evening.

We began with drinks: a refreshing white wine and the local Seybrew beer. The menu offers an excellent variety, including vegetarian options, which were clearly given the same care and thought as the other dishes. The vegetarian curry that my husband had was a standout—a beautifully spiced dish served with a variety of sides, including turmeric rice, chutneys, and papadums. It was hearty, flavourful, and came with plenty of extras to create a well-rounded meal.

I chose the traditional octopus curry, paired with turmeric rice and fresh vegetables. The curry was rich and perfectly spiced, showcasing the flavours of the Seychelles. The combination of textures and vibrant tastes was unforgettable.

For dessert, we enjoyed a nougat cake with ice cream and a banana flambé, both of which were divine. To cap off the evening, we savoured Seychelles rum, which perfectly complemented the decadent desserts.

Service was meticulous—efficient and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The attention to detail and the balance between professionalism and warmth made the experience truly exceptional.

Lo Brizan is a perfect blend of elegance, flavour, and atmosphere. Whether you’re vegetarian, a seafood lover, or seeking traditional Seychelles cuisine, this restaurant offers something special for everyone. I highly recommend...

This is an upscale, elegant restaurant perfect for a special occasion (casual chic attire is fine, but beachwear wouldn’t be appropriate). The food was outstanding, the service was excellent and staff paid the greatest attention to all the smallest details. The atmosphere and ambience were lovely and chic, beautifully decorated in a very stylish yet comfortable modern casual decor. The menu featured many local and continental specialties, with a variety of elegantly prepared and chef-forward dishes for all palates. The seared tuna and the bruschetta trio were among the very best we’ve had (we are well traveled foodies), the octopus curry was tender and delicious, richly spiced with lots of fresh island spices (cloves, allspice, cinnamon, curry), but it was quite rich and after the generously portioned appetizer, I couldn’t quite finish it. For dessert, the flourless chocolate cake was absolute heaven (order well in advance, as it takes some time to make). The staff were all so very warm, friendly and accommodating, and each one went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. This was hands down the best restaurant I’ve visited in the Seychelles, on par with upscale restaurants I’ve been to in Capetown, San Francisco, and other foodie cities. We will definitely return to try the many other delicious menu offerings and enjoy the warm and welcoming service of their highly professional staff. I’d rate 10...

Arrived fairly early for dinner and we were promptly seated at the window overlooking the ocean view.

The starters were great. We shared the Trio of Bruschetta which was moreish! The Seychelles citrus ceviche looked like thinly sliced linefish to me, which was fresh and tender however I found the citrus bath a bit heavy on the coconut.

For mains I decided to be brave and try something new in the Ginger Crab. Our waitress did say it could get messy getting into the crab, and boy did she not lie! That was something else. I don’t know why I thought of lobster type fish when I ordered this, but I don’t think I’ll order it again. Too much work for too little payoff. This is totally on me, so not knocking the restaurant. Should’ve ordered the Tuna Steak like my husband because from what I tasted it was DELICIOUS!! Super delicate, cooked perfectly and complimenting the honey mustard sauce perfectly!

Like I said , we arrived very early and we were the only patrons for a good hour so service was faultless.

Having just spent a few days in La Dique, it was interesting to see the price disparity between both islands.

Lo Brizan is a really good option if you’re looking for global fusion food with a local twist at a...
