Excellent beach. Very calm, quite and scenic ambience. Crystal clear water looking green or blue depending upon the time of the day.

Swimming here is a pleasure. Very safe to swim. One can swim quite inside without feeling unsafe at all. It's said that snorkeling opportunities are also good; somehow I didn't experience, may be due to improper timing. I however enjoyed swimming to ultimate levels.

Some small boats anchor themselves in these waters. They look quite photogenic on the backdrop of the ocean.

Not much crowded so no one to disturb you as such.

Walking in the beach is an experience in itself. The texture of the sand is so smooth that barefoot walk is ultimate pleasure here.

There are hotels by the beach and in the evenings one funds couple enjoying themselves in the waters or on the beach, may be with glasses full! Walking in such an ambience is quite energy filled and makes one become enthusiastic.

On the left had side, one gets to witness lush green mountains upto quite a distance in the waters. The stone formations are interesting too.

Different colours in the morning when the sun rises and different in the evenings during sun set time. Worth an experience both the times. Sitting on the relaxing beach chairs and experiencing it is like dream coming true. Wonderful.

The only negative is the weed, the quantum of which depends upon the season. Some adjacent hotels clean the weed in front of their hotels, which makes it better for a walk.

Perfect spot for a beach Holiday with your spouse or with...

My wife and I were on a bike ride one day, it had rained profusely the previous day. So it happened to be humid and not quite pleasant this particular day. But our bike ride took place mostly through the woods, so the overhanging canopy was a welcome sight. We came across this path, it was slightly more muddy than I care to deal with. So she scoped it out. Boy, was I glad that she did!!! This beach was hands down the best beach that I've ever seen in my life!!! This isn't hyperbole, it is simply the truth. We spent MANY hours just hanging out here. The water is crystal clear, and you can walk out during the day close to 100 yards or so. All other beaches that I encounter for the rest of my life will be judged by this one right here....

Beautiful beach, the access by bike or by foot is quite demanding but the beach at a good weather will compensate you. Carry more water and food, however, there is a cosy beach bar with fresh coconuts, some fruit platter, beer, water and soft drinks. The toilet in the restaurant nearby. This beach is real fun for wave surfing despite the currents, kids must be closely watched. Excellent place for a long laidback stay. I liked it much more than the Source d’Argent as water here is much cooler and relaxing.

An amazing beach with incredible views. Not advisable for swimming though, because the waves are quite dangerous. Be careful with covers made out of palm leaves if you’re looking for a shade: a guy will come up to you and ask to buy some fruit from him, e.g. a coconut for 100 rupees. We didn’t mind paying, because it was my little dream to drink from a coconut, but if you don’t want to spend money, just walk to the rocks at the end of the beach for a natural shade. Totally worth a visit!
