Grand Anse Beach Bar — Restaurant in La Digue

After 15 minutes of waiting for the ordered food, they told us they didn't have chips, so I picked something else. 10 minutes later, they told us that the chef would come in 15 minutes and asked if I want to wait and then have the fish & chips that I ordered initially as they should already have the chips at that time too. As there is no other restaurant nearby and I was hungry, I agreed. The dish arrived in around 30 minutes and was very average. I would expect at least a small dessert or drink as an apology as the approach was very dissapointing. I don't recommend this...

Beautiful little beach restaurant. Very good egg fried rice and best mixed fruit juice I have ever had. I went back two hours later to get another one. The prices (once you get used to the ridiculous prices all over the Seychelles) are actually very reasonable. Large portion of egg fried rice 190 SCR and the big glass of fresh mixed frut juice with some fresh cut fruit on the rim of the glass (pineapple, papaya and oranges orangeslice on my glass) is 100 SCR. Our service was poor. Our food was not good. It didn’t come with everything the menu said it would. We are not picky (at all) and this was was just bad. The worst thing, however, is that the female who took our order and the man who brought us our food, very obviously mocked a hearing impaired customer after taking their order.
