The location is definitely the best on the island - next to the 3 best beaches - Grand, Petit, and Coco. The owner, Kristina, and her team make sure you will be very satisfied! We have had some of the best meals on La Digue (we have stayed here nearly 3 months in total and tried all the options). The prawns are pure perfection! The chef, Rafael, does not overdo them so that you get the best flavour of the prawns, and the coconut curry and stir-fried prawns are extremely well-flavoured. You can request how spicy you wish your dish according to your preference. We also tried their buffet, including very fresh, grilled fish and delicious pumpkin salad! The atmosphere of the place is super friendly. The Cuban bartender can mix a fantastic cocktail for you while you are waiting for dinner or simply chill inbetweem swims on the most spectacular beach we have ever been to! The place is airy, spacious, and really well managed. It is a must when...

Rustic but very welcoming ambience also thanks to the cheerful family-owned approach. Would include this place among my global top 5 for grilled fish. The obvious choice is to go for the open buffet, which includes cold veggie starters, curries and grilled delicacies. An ultimate full-immersion into Creole comfort food: you won't leave in hunger and the bill is more than fair, at 700 scr for 2 buffets and a couple drinks. One of La Digue's must-dos! Just be mindful of its accessibility, there is quite an uphill to cycle back to La Passe, but transport solutions are offered, either by the restaurant itself or by...

We have mixed feelings about this place. It was great at first, with perfect island music playing and service that was great and super friendly. The weather was not great and we enjoyed just spending some time relaxing in the restaurant. We received a menu that was reasonable and looked delicious. We went back 2hours later after enjoying the beach and then received a different menu that was almost double the cost and service that was not as great. We decided not to eat there as it felt a bit like a 'tourist trap'. So I think it has potential to be a great place but possibly also disappointing. Judge...

We had a very disappointing experience during our visit. The drinks we received had ants in them. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, they acted as if they didn’t understand the issue and just gave us a menu instead of addressing the problem. After about 30 minutes we get new drinks which also had ants in them. Only then did they agree to return our money. The service was careless, communication was poor, and the hygiene standards were completely unacceptable. It’s hard to believe such situations can happen in a place that serves food and drinks to customers.
