Bengawan Solo Changi Airport Terminal 3 — Attraction in Singapore

A local regular customer of bengawan solo. Bought their product at many different branches before. First time buying at T3, and received the first-ever worse experience with bengawan! Never did I expect that I’m supposed to pay a fee for cutting service on a full piece of Swiss roll.

Other places don’t charge! The first staff that attended to me simply just say she’s not good at cutting (which I’m totally ok with it!), and the older staff (probably a perm staff) added that if cutting is required, they will charge by per piece. Probably she’s just lazy.

Bengawan HQ: if you’re reading the reviews, maybe you want to check out your staffs’ attitude and profile. I don’t think you want to place someone of this kind to be our “face of Singapore” at the world...

Was recently there, and despite the information on both Google and the actual corporate website, I was quite surprised to see 2 staff members setting up shop at 0630. Despite being the first customer of the day, and not being fully ready, I was promptly attended to, and my questions in regards to various products was patiently answered, such as requirements of refrigeration as well as allergies concerns. The kind staff even reminded me that purchasing Kaya will require it to be checked it, since the volume exceeds the permitted amount of bringing on board. A delightful experience overall, and was content with the high levels of smiles and grace exhibited by the staff members. Will look forward to...

Never met such an annoying sales person Chong Mei Wah. First thing early morning and I have to deal with such attitude.

I went to T3 to pick up some stuff I ordered and first thing she told me “don’t have”. Then I saw my phone number behind I said that’s me. She said only reserved one pandan cake but I actually called twice and told the lady I wanted two, plus other biscuits.

She keep arguing the paper says one only. I told her I called before, she said “but that’s not me”.

In the end I asked her “so do u have two cakes for me today or not”. She said yes.
