D’Best Fishing ProPond — Attraction in Singapore

I cannot believe this place is not rated five stars.

This place changed my life. It is a fantastic place to take first time fisherman or anyone who wants to catch massive fish! The owner and his son are so accommodating and understanding and very helpful. And CJ, the staff member, was so helpful in helping us to catch more fish and give us information on the fish, its environment, and basically just how to become a better fisherman.

We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and caught countless of massive fish (we probably caught about 15 big fish! 15! Imagine that!). My three kids were ecstatic and had the best time ever! We’ve been to Singapore over 20 times as tourist and this experience was by far the best activity we have done here. After we left, my kids asked if we could come back the next day. I hope we can fit it in before we leave.

My rating for this place might be a little bias as I’m not into fishing. Place has no clean chairs. As a first timer, not much knowledge on how to fish even after googling. No basic instructions on how to fish from the vendour. No recommendation or instructions on which pond to choose from. Caught nothing. And I find that it makes no sense for them to ring the bell to inform patrons that they are releasing fish into the pond. And everyone gathers around the releasing point to hope to catch something. I mean isn’t it the same as catching a fish from a small home fish...

A great place for all who are keen on having a great fishing experience! It was the first time my kid went fishing and had an unforgettable afternoon at the Sure Catch pond. Many thanks to the friendly and patient staff who were ever ready to teach the finer fishing techniques! Three big catches in less than 1.5hours! Will definitely come back!
