Had cravings for aglio olio and decided to give this bistro a shot cause the reviews is quite good. Firstly, the menu available online (their website) is not even the same as those available in store, its much lesser. I was told to spend at least $60 for 2 pax due to peak hour/high volume and the staff recommended to just order their tze char promotional 2 pax bundle because the kitchen will cook those FIRST and if i order ala carte it will take 30mins. Sounds fishy right? Shouldn’t it be cooked whenever any order comes first? Secondly, the whole indoor space is only served by 1 ceiling aircon unit (sorry if im wrong but thats the only one i see), so yes, its warm and not well ventilated. Thirdly, there are ants crawling up to my fingers as well as on my leg and that means theres plenty more around all tables etc. I understand its a park outside but come on… Nvm, ordered grilled chicken aglio olio, pan seared snapper, salted egg popcorn and 2 bottles of beers. 2 beers came relatively quicker of course. The chix aglio olio came first but it took close to an hour for it to come. Staff passed me metal knife and fork for aglio olio (funny right?). I asked for metal spoon for aglio olio and she asked me if im ok with using plastic spoon (those tze char shorter kind) cause they don’t have metal ones now. Plastic spoon came with an ant crawling on it and i direct her to the crawling ant and she was embarrassed of it while apologizing. First time im having aglio olio without any garlic…just look at the pictures for reference. All i can taste from the aglio olio is chilli (overly spicy) and salt, noodle texture is too soft, overall very bad. Chicken is 4.5/10. After tasting the sad aglio olio and waiting for an hour plus, i just don’t want to wait anymore (i believe the snapper will be disappointing too) and decided to just bill whatever thats served. Even finding the cashier is hard (not within vision), cashier is located at another location with no signages to direct customers. I understand that due to high volume there will be longer waiting time but i still feel that the food taste should not be compromised and waiting time should not be SO long. The whole bistro is understaffed and you can see staffs running/quick walk here and there, chaotic. Overall, a bad experience and I can only say jiayou, please improve.

Hidden gem in the east and very windy beside the pond . Had parking beside the pond and walking distance from Pasir ris MRT/Bus station (just beside) if you are taking own transport. Me and my wife whom like to roam around Singapore for food and atmosphere (been to many parks/sea view bistro as well) and this is the FIRST TIME I had decided to write a review. Service is good served by Ruby, made us feel very comfortable with a funny personality. The food is VERY GOOD and affordable compare to many bistro. Me and my wife are small eaters and v fussy and this is the first time we FINISH EVERYTHING from the dishes. Tried their western fish n chips/ claypot pepper prawn glass noodle and sambal stingray (by Ah bang Botak), from the photo you can see how delicious they are which we finished up everything. Me and my wife love sambal stingray and had nv finished up and this is the first time. Kados to ruby and ah bang Botak! Many dishes to choose from from Chinese cuisine to Malay to BBQ to western to bites and many more! Highly recommended

a hidden gem in pasir ris. my favourite part is the atmosphere. having a meal and some drinks by the pond feels like a break away from the busy life. it’s peaceful, not too noisy. and has a wide selection of food. i ordered the green curry and it was delicious and shiok especially because it was raining when i was dining in. however, could be less spicy as i ordered the “mild” option but it was still spicy for my friends but it was very savoury and has a good amount of meat. ordered a grilled chicken aglio olio too. i enjoyed it but wished the portion was bigger, the chicken was so little and looked a little sad compared to other restaurants. i ordered truffle fries as well. fries were crispy and yummy, but could add more truffle oil for a better taste. drinks were affordable too, much cheaper than the bar at downtown east. will definitely come back here. there’s also a malay shop beside and heard they have very good satay and other options. will try when i come back!

Restaurant personnel booked for me, giving an equivalent of eatigo discount & eatigo rules. I'm confused on this cos then I cant rate them on eatigo. Strange.

We were late, cos of car trouble. As we were not fr Pasir ris, we were unfamiliar, had to park the car in a carpark that says 'full' but sign was wrong, then walk a fair bit looking for restaurant. Reached there after 15min grace, 9 min after grace period. So discount dropped fr 50% to 30%.

Restaurant offered free 4 can of drinks to 'cool us down'. We proceed to order since we were there, altho there was plenty of food choices available at food court.

We ordered 2 noodles & several dishes to eat with rice. Hor fun was ok but the crispy seafood noodle was a big let down, not crispy & with instant taste.

Garlic chicken was jus chopped up chicken wings, portion v small. Taste was ok but not much meat with splinters. V expensive dish, really overcharging.

The rest like long bean, pork with bitter gourd, sambal Sotong taste ok, lack wok hei. All small size portions

Billed for $70 after discount. I would say it's not too expensive, but not worth. Due to not so pleasant arrival plus food didn't meet our expectations, unlikely we will travel such a distance to visit again.

Maybe we didn't know how to order. Thank you for the service. Staff is friendly & attentive.

Update 5feb: Dear Niki, you are right on our being late part, not fault of yours or your staff, despite our circumstances. We honoured the booking & did not go elsewhere. Hence high rating for service & atmosphere. Thank you...
