We had the most amazing stay at Scurek in April 2025! Six nights in this little slice of heaven gave us plenty of time to soak up the stunning surroundings — and take full advantage of the relaxing spa and beautiful on-site pool.

Breakfast was a daily highlight — generous, delicious, and yes, even included a splash of the winery’s own sparkling rosé!

The warmth and hospitality of the Scurek family made our stay truly special. Huge thanks to Nejc and Primož, who were around every day with helpful tips and great conversation. Of course, we couldn’t leave without doing a tasting and tour — an absolute must — and it was one of the best we've ever experienced. They also pointed us toward fantastic local spots, from wineries and olive oil tastings to restaurants — every single suggestion was a hit.

And how could we not mention Beppe, the beloved wine dog? He completely stole our hearts and made our stay even more memorable.

I visited this winery mainly because it had such high Google reviews, but I ended up extremely disappointed. The owner seemed quite inattentive. When introducing the wines, they just briefly mentioned what grape it was and then left, giving us only a tiny pour—literally just a couple of sips—so it was impossible to really taste or understand the wine’s flavor. When I mentioned that the pour was very small, the owner just told me that was the normal amount. I overheard them telling other tables all sorts of interesting stories, but when I asked questions, they brushed me off and seemed to treat different customers very unequally. I felt it was unfair, and honestly, the wine wasn’t even that good. There are plenty of great wineries in this region, so I’d recommend...
