A little part of heaven! This trail is running along one of the most picturesque parts of South Africa. Pinnacle Point is not only renowned for its caves “known as the archeological site of the earliest artifacts of modern human beings” but also for its Golf Estate and home development which had one various awards over time. We often visited and walking the trail from the one end of the estate all the way to the other end is a exhilarating experience. It is so beautiful. The trail is kept in good condition by the Estate and offers magnificent views over the Atlantic ocean. It is not difficult but I think a modern level of fitness is necessary. Walking or running this trail is also quite safe especially the section crossing Pinnacle Point Estate. There is security checkpoints at both ends of the trail where it enters and exit the estate. From PP you can also carry on with the trail all the way to Danabaai on the one side, or to Mosselbaai on the other side. We had some great whale sightings during the whale season and uf you are a bird watcher do take your...

This trail masterfully balances easy stretches with more challenging sections, making it suitable for hikers of various skill levels, although potentially demanding for older individuals or those new to hiking. Initially, we underestimated the trail's difficulty based on previous reviews, but our experience proved otherwise. The breathtaking vistas along the trail offer a profound connection with nature, making every step worthwhile.
Our group completed the 14.3-kilometer trail in approximately five hours, pausing to savor snacks and revel in the fresh air and surroundings.
For convenience, consider arranging a car drop-off at one end of the trail and having friends or a shuttle service transport you to the opposite end, as there is no public transportation available to return you to your vehicle after completing the trail.
I wholeheartedly recommend the St. Blaze hiking trail to anyone seeking an...

This is where early humans set up camp 160000 years ago, probably after spotting the views and thinking, “good enough to evolve in.” Today, you can still visit those ancient caves, then zipline across the ocean at 80 km/h like a caffeinated seagull on holiday.
The St Blaize Trail offers cliffside drama, dolphin sightings, and the creeping realization that you may not be as fit as you thought. Bartolomeu Dias made landfall here centuries ago, and they’ve kept his boat as a souvenir, right next to a tree that doubles as the world’s chillest post office.
Seafood’s fresher than your last breakup, the gin is museum-grade, and the vibe is equal parts sunburnt, laid back, and one adrenaline rush from existential clarity. As a Garden Route gateway, Mossel Bay doesn’t just welcome you, it challenges...
