The UVongo waterfall in Margate is a hidden gem that should not be missed. Surrounded by lush greenery and turquoise waters, this natural wonder is a must-visit for anyone in the area. The waterfall is easily accessible and is a great spot for a leisurely walk or hike. There are well-maintained paths and viewing platforms that offer stunning views of the cascading water and surrounding landscape. The sound of the rushing water is incredibly calming and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to reflect or a picturesque setting for photographs, UVongo waterfall has it all. I highly recommend visiting the UVongo waterfall in Margate, as it is a true hidden gem that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Beautiful spot to SUP and kayak. Not too great for fishing but it's a lovely spot and it is so peaceful and clean. It is safe and even with the wond blowing there is not much current. Will fun for the family as well. Not sure on the water quality and temperature ad didnt go in the water

The uvongo waterfall is a stunning sight to behold. To get a close view, you should take a paddle boat from the beach to see it. It's really a must see.

Being permanent residents at the Laguna La Crete complex which borders the southern banks of the Vungu River & Waterfall, we absolutely love that we have the Waterfall literally on our doorstep, with awesome views of it offered from the owners pool within the complex, & of course, the sounds of the water falling into the lagoon below. It's not surprising that the private residence that offers holiday accommodation & is situated within the grounds of Laguna La Crete is called Casa Cascata which I believe is Italian for Waterfall House as it must offer the most awe-inspiring views of the Waterfall, not to mention the lagoon & main Uvongo Beach. All said, the Uvongo Waterfall must definitely be ranked up there as being both an attraction & asset to the area of the South Coast of KZN that it...
