It is the most pleasant surprise to discover this petting zoo within the city! There is a main artery with taxis right outside the gate! This should make it easy for anyone using public transport. The zoo has a variety of beautiful farm animals ranging from chicks, rabbits and geese to a blue-eyed donkey, goats and an emu! It is paradise for children! With the understanding that it is a farm-style environment, I was disheartened by the poor levels of hygiene. Everything is thick with dust and dirt - and that's just the reception area. It made me feel uneasy. Understandable for animals, but not for a reception area. The physically disabled might find the entrance a challenge, but there is an emergency door that can allow a wheelchair. Don't wear white shoes, especially stilettos - the walkways are muddy.
