KFC Rietfontein — Restaurant in Gauteng

KFC RIETFONTEIN is by far the worst KFC I have ever been to.

Last night (26.03.25) I decided to give them yet another chance by getting dinner for my family and they proved their incompetence once again.

I ordered food through drive-thru at about 18h15, after paying I proceeded to the next window to collect my order and I was advised that I must wait in the parking area for my food and that one of the ladies will bring it to the car, it’ll take about 16 minutes I was told.

My family and I waited in the parking area and watched as some of the ladies brought food out to all the other vehicles except ours.

One of my cousins eventually decided to go in to KFC at about 18h45 and at about 18h55 I decided to go in since she didn’t come out with the food.

When I got inside I asked my cousin what’s the delay and she said one of the ladies took the slip and it seems like the order was never prepared. I could also hear them talk and say that they couldn’t see the order on their side but I have paid and I’ve received a slip. One of them tried lying to my face that she was outside looking for our vehicle and could not see us, HOW, if they claimed that they could not see our order. I asked for the manager from one of the ladies and she went to call the manager until now… very pathetic!!!

After 19h00 we eventually got the food just to find out that 4 items were missing from the initial order, we again had to wait for over 10minutes. I had to shout to get their attention as they were all ignoring customers who were in the shop waiting for their orders.

I don’t even want to mention the quality of the chicken we were given. The colour of the chicken was very light compared to your normal KFC chicken and it was very watery on the inside. This shows that the food we pay for was made in such a hurry with no care whatsoever!!!

The staff are completely ignorant and extremely slow!!!!!

KFC RIETFONTEIN needs to do better, their services are horrible to...

The atmosphere is superb; quite,open and refreshing.

😒The meat looked and felt like something unedible(took a video). The skin is thick with what looks like dough paste, like a thin pizza base, this meat really looks off🤮

I wanted to order a 21 piece bucket for my kids.🙄

I ordered a wrapsta box and a cappuccino, I had to drink it Luke warm because I went to the bathroom after ordering, came back and sat on my phone at afar corner. At other KFC's they pour your cappuccino/Coffee when you collect your order and I thought it's the same here.

I'm still thinking if I should go show them this meat but they'll just offer me another piece that's covered with a pizza dough🤮

By the way, a guy (kfc employee) approached and asked to use my phone for a survey. I showed him my meat and asked him what does he think my review will be like. Then a lady called him and talked to him "probably calling him off for asking for my phone or something"

I will only go here for drinks and a quite moment but for food... NEVER!!!!! Not in a bad way ne...

We ordered food and couldn't get what we wanted as they said we would wait a half an hour for the chicken pieces to be made We ordered popz two colonel burgers and 3 large chips and a mash and gravy and a cone for our child. I was told that we had to wait for pops to be made fresh. We proceeded to the parking and waited about 20 minutes.

1. No ice cream
2. The pops was NOT made fresh in fact it was so stale old and cold that my dog wouldn't eat it
3. The Chips was Ice Cold

I went in and asked the manager why if we order ice cream 3 times we don't get it she said ag just buy one now maybe she didn't hear you I asked about the pops she said it was fresh and the lady at the till had something to say in her language. When I told her that the food was not made fresh and I'm not happy. She said nothing I can do

We got home and ate the burgers and mash as we're starving. And in the early hours of this morning it happened, we all have diarrhea and vomiting.
