Busan Science Center (๋ถ€์‚ฐ๊ณผํ•™์ฒดํ—˜๊ด€) 11 Jungang-daero 260beon-gil, Dong-gu, Busan, South Korea A hidden gem for science lovers and families in Busan! The Busan Science Center is a great stop, especially if youโ€™re looking for something educational and engaging. Admission is free, which makes it even more worthwhile. The facility is well-maintained and features a variety of interactive exhibits that spark curiosity across all ages. Weekdays tend to be quieter, often with school groups visiting, so itโ€™s best to go during those times if you prefer a calmer experience. The center includes hands-on science experiments, space exploration themes, and digital exhibitsโ€”great for kids and adults alike. Whether youโ€™re visiting with family or just curious about local science education, this spot offers a fun and thoughtful way to spend an hour or two. Clean, informative, and relaxingโ€”a welcome pause in your Busan itinerary.

Most museum across Korea needs to a phone number and needs booking online. Since it was close to our accom, we went there around 11.30 to ask if we could book on the spot for the 2.00pm session. The staff was friendly and told us that we could come even without booking as it was not very busy. The science museum was great, maybe if our 3 and 4 years old were older, they would understand better. But they still had a great time with lot of hands on experiments. We even saw the staff demonstrating with a Tesla Coil. Place was clean. Has a waiting/ quiet area. Toilets were clean and kids friendly. As a foreigner, I wished the explanations at each station were in English but overall the wife (Korean) and the kids had a lot of fun and it is definitely a great science center.

Really interactive place the kids can experience without constantly being told "no". Bonus that it's very inexpensive. It's the kind of place you can go often and see something new everytime. The only disappointment was that the playground area with super big slide was closed due to Corona virus restrictions. There's parking and lockers, and the staff were extremely friendly. They break for lunch between 12-2. We went in the morning at 10:30, then went to lunch at Smokey Grill on Texas Street, and then back to the science center from 2-3:30.
