It's going to be a really long review for this restaurant. I apologize to those looking for good restaurants in Busan. As a cruise ship musician, I mostly visit Japan and South Korea, so I naturally compare my experiences in these two countries. When it comes to food culture, one difference I noticed is that in South Korea, I don't have to pay for side dishes. As you can see in this restaurant, the side dishes were free, and the main pork soup was incredibly flavorful and rich. However, in Japan, I used to pay for extra side dishes whenever I went to a restaurant. Secondly, in Japan, I was often encouraged to leave as soon as I finished eating, but in South Korea, there is no rush, and you can take your time. Now, getting back to the main point, the food at this restaurant was amazing, and the service and price were outstanding. I highly recommend visiting here if you have plans to go to Busan..

This was my second dwaeji gukbap ever. After adding salt, pepper and the tiny baby prawns that were on the table, it tasted nice. I heard Busan was famous for dwaeji gukbap, so I just had to try whilst I was visiting. I ordered the sundae (blood sausage) dwaeji gukbap. It was 10,000 won.

I had the dwaeji gukbap. Huge portion for a reasonable price. The side dishes provided (free) is a must try. Kimchi is delicious and the chilli/onion dipped with miso paste is great!
