LOTTE Department Store Gwangbok — Attraction in Busan

20 Oct 2023 Friday. Greeted by a very patient and polite young man, Taihyun Park, at ABC Mart LOTTE WORLD Gwangbok Branch. THAT nice young man assisted to bring out the different sizes of Nike shoes to see which pair would better fit my broad feet. He even helped to print out the tax refund papers even before i could ask him. And helped to discard my shoes that broke during our walk at Taejondae. What a stark contrast to the horrendous and rude service we encountered at ABC Mart gwangbok fashion street (near nampo subway exit 1 and 7). Indeed, I was glad to make the right decision to leave that horrible ABC MART flagship store at gwangbok fashion st n shop at Lotte World Mall instead. Greeted by two very pleasant staff serving us beef hotpot at the basement. Because we did not know how to speak any Korean, the two middle aged ladies manning the counter took the effort to serve us the soup, show us how to turn on the electrical stove and the various sauces for dipping our food. The security guard/customer service gentleman at level 5 attended to our enqueries and used google translation to tell us where we could shop for sports shoes. Filtered water provided outside the toilets at Level 5 or 6 (cant recall which level). Clean toilet facilities. Basement is linked directly to the underground passage or shopping area of Nampo station.

The Aqua mall has Uniqlo in it and is located above the fountain.

The observation deck and the Charlotte Garden is above Lotte Mall and has a lovely view of Busan tower and the port.
