LOTTE Mart Gwangbok — Attraction in Busan

Had a nice day at the department store, shopped for some snacks at Lotte Mart, at checkout, everyone else gets disposable plastic bags, but not for us. The checkout attendant insisted on us buying a reusable bag, which I have too many at home already, we asked for thin plastic bags, she said no.

And then immediately gave a disposable bag to the next customer, I pointed at it, and she said "Korean only".

I was very annoyed at this point and refused to buy a thick plastic bag that I'll throw away, so carried all the goods by hand to the car.

The attendant could just dislike foreigners, or there is some strange policy with plastic bags and local customers. Either way, if Lotte Mart reads this, please sort it out.

Oh, and the attendant never offered duty free return, the other people at the same department store did.

Super shopping place and one can find all groceries needed. Also other House hold items, Clothes etc. Good place for kids and also adults and the elderly. The staff are very friendly.. You get great Produce there. Just picked up some Almonds and Brazil nuts. A mall with a beautiful water fountain and fall unique in its own way. With lots ifveating places and food...
