Incheon Airport Duty Free Store — Attraction in Incheon

Last night December 30th I had a flight back from Incheon airport. Prior to my departure. I stopped by the duty free store next to gate 43. The customer service women was beyond rude. I went to ask her a question. She literally shoosh me out and walked away like I was no one🙋🏻‍♀️. If you work in this type of business. You should be professional and treat everyone equally. I want to purchase some souvenirs before my flight. I hope management read my message and train their staff to understand that the airport if full of people from all over the world. Shinsegae cosmetic duty free close to gate 43.

One of the worst duty free retail experience dont go there. The sales assistant behave like a pack of hyenas. Within less than 5 min more than 5 assistant came to aggressively push product, including 2 very rude one that interrupted me was I was reading product information. I made clear that i wanted to peacefully do my shopping but more kept coming and some made rude comment / insulted me in Korean. Totally...

The Shinsegae duty free shop dedicated to cosmetics a) has prices all expressed in USD only b) accepts only credit cards c) if you choose to pay in EUR you accept the Alliex Wholosale Rate plus they apply a 3% FX surcharge. So be aware of the USD/EUR rate + fee outcome. As for me, I will not shop there again even if the rate was favourable to me, as I should be able to choose to pay in cash/WON...
