Geumneung Beach — Attraction in Jeju

Some of the best Beach habitat we have seen, especially in the lava rocks. We found shrimp, anemones, crabs, urchins, snails, mussels, and more!

Bathrooms and foot washing station are great to have close by. Be advised, there is no TP in the stalls, you have to get it from the dispenser at the entrance of the toilet and take it in with you.

Parking can be challenging, but people cycle through enough that spaces open up.

Best beach we found in our trip to Korea. We were told it gets packed with people, but we were here in late september and there was plenty of space. The tide was low when we were there, so there was a HUGE area to walk until the water reached your knees. Water was clear and the island on the backround made it a scenic spot for pictures. Perfect place if you want to stay on a beach away from the restaurants and all the buildings and such. You will still see buildings, but they are further away than at the other beach.
