Can be say no breakfast at all.. they claimed that bf is at 8 until 9am only. the staff take out the bread and a bottle of orange juice at 8am and 10min later it all finish. If u ask for more thier staff will stand by ur side and make sure u only take 1 pc only. On my third day of staying there while im cooking my instant noodle. The staff keep coming to the kitchen with a bad face ( hellloo maron u stated that u provide a kitchen that can be use) why the staff keep busy in the kitchen eat here and there.. let the guest have their on space la.. I felt cheated by lyndon hostel i booked 2 queen room for 3nights stay. On the website stated that there will a "HALAL untensil" but when i ask the staff the " make a drama" like oh really.. no such thing..
No kettle in the room so need to go downstair to get a drink or hot water.. My 1st room is oky.. but the 2nd room is WITHOUT A TV.. can u imagine A hotel room without a tv. So poor service .
Also No bath towel provided. Only a small face towel, and you must request from the staff
Overall is all bad. Espcially the staff is busying wih thier on agenda. In the kitchen all drawer is label with a "for staff.." for staff.. here and the all fot staff.. Then u should closed down and open hostel for ur staff only. I mixed well with other guess ..and they feel the same too. They seem surprising that no breakfast after 8.59am. The staff already standing next to you to take the PLAIN SANDWICH BREAD and put into the " STAFF DRAWER" .. This is the worst hotel in this entire world. Im taking your hotel room..not your sharing dorm. And im buying my own bread and eggs for my other 3...
Read moreWe arrived at the hostel by bus but missed our stop because of a mixup. I believe the bus said Jeju Welfare Center but the instructions told us Tamna Welfare Center. The next stop wasn't too far away so walking to the hostel wasn't a major issue. If you were to get off the bus at the correct stop, the hostel would be a few steps away. The building looks a bit older but when we reached the floor for Hostel Lyndon, the inside looked well renovated. Check in was quick and we were given a room with one bunk and washroom; which we were very grateful for because we had originally booked a standard 6 bedroom dorm. For the most part, everything looked pretty clean. The washroom/shower area could use a shower curtain but it was fine without. They do have a happy hour in their common area which they provide one free drink. The hostel is located very close to a movie theater and many restaurants. The staff was also very helpful in helping us figure out where we should go and how we should take the bus back to...
Read moreReally disappointed with this place. |The staff were very rude. When we asked for any suggestions (it was lunar New Year so we didn't know what will be open, where to eat, etc), the girl just said "I don't know, you'll have to go see" without trying at all. There were 2 female staff, on their phones all the time, and they never greeted anyone. |Also, one of the mornings, a couple came down 10 minutes after breakfast was finished and asked if they could get something anyways and she LAUGHED at them. I was so surprised! |After this I didn't ask for anything else. ||The hostel itself was really nice, but our bed (bunk) was incredibly creeky. Every movement we made was super loud. I slept really poorly. ||Breakfast was also a sad affair... toast with only jam, no butter, and only 1 egg. Only 1 egg! What the heck. ||All in all, wouldn't stay here again. I'm pretty salty about the...
