The most amazing staff! I came here in June on a rainy day without an umbrella. While I was in the museum, a massive downpour started. I had walked here from my hotel, about thirty minutes away. I stood outside the museum under the awning, trying to figure out the quickest way to get back because I knew the rain wouldn't stop, and one of the girls at the desk came out and asked if I had an umbrella. When I said 'no', she ran back inside and brought me one that had been left long ago in the lost and found. I cannot tell you what a difference that made! She absolutely went out of her way for me. Read moreI spent over 2 hours inside this museum and I left with new learning (info) about Korea and its people. It gave me insight on Korea's history and the battle fought at Jinju and what's left with its fortress.
The museum is well curated. It's amazing that they were able to preserve do many items (jars, weapons) from thousands of years ago as well as diaries and manuscripts, clothing, photos etc. They also have English translations and captions.
