Sanbangsan, explored in February in Jeju, was a captivating natural wonder steeped in cultural significance. The majestic peak, formed by volcanic activity, offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, despite the cooler winter temperatures. The trek up the mountain provided an invigorating experience, showcasing unique rock formations and diverse flora along the way. While the weather limited some outdoor activities, the Sanbangsan area was a serene and spiritual retreat. The nearby temple and the majestic Sanbanggulsa Cave added depth to the visit, providing insight into the island's cultural heritage. Sanbangsan in February was a scenic marvel, offering a glimpse into Jeju's geological and...

Also known as sunset peak. Take a little hike to the top and enjoy the view of sunset and ocean. It's well worth the effort and frankly speaking the effort is pretty minimal even for a kid or elderly.

The place is surrounded by few gardens and there is a Buddhist temple at the foot of the hill. If you are driving, do explore the village nearby. There is a coastal road with some of the most scenic view in Jeju Island.

Went to this place during winter, not too crowded which is a plus point for me. No shade at the top of the hill so always check weather forecast...
