Some construction is currently going on. Jinnamgwan Hall was the naval base of Jeolla-do Province during the Joseon Dynasty. Admiral Yi Sun-shin had used this site as his headquarters.

여수에 있는 문화유적이다. 국보문화재로서 조선 수군 전라좌수영 본영 터에 위치하고 있다. 원래 진해루라는 누각이 있었는데 정유재란 때 왜적에게 불타 없어졌다. 전란 이후 삼도수군통제사였던 이시언이 75칸(기둥과 기둥사이를 한 칸)의 객사의 <진남관>를 건립했다. 객사의 용도로 만들어졌기에 해당 건물 중앙부에 조선 역대 임금들의 궐패를 봉안하고 매월 정기적으로 궁궐을 향해 참배했다. 그리고 전라좌수영을 방문하는 사신들이 머무는 숙소로도 이용되었다. 현재는 공사중이라 내부를 관람할 수 없다. 대신 바로 밑에 전시관이 있는데 그곳은 관람이 가능하다. 전시관 사진을 참고하기 바랍니다.^^

麗水鎮南館（Jinnamgwan Hall / 진남관） 位於全羅南道麗水市，是韓國國寶級的重要文化遺產，也是朝鮮時代最大的單棟木造建築之一。原為朝鮮水軍司令部的會議與軍事指揮中心，如今已成為了解 韓國歷史與海軍文化的重要景點。建築結構宏偉壯觀，屋頂與木梁雕刻精美，展現了傳統韓屋建築的工藝之美。館內設有歷史展覽與導覽說明，讓遊客深入了解壬辰倭亂時期李舜臣將軍的海戰故事。麗水自由行的旅客可輕鬆從市區步行或搭車抵達，雖然館內有點小，不過還是相當有內涵，也有許多漢字，周邊還有麗水海濱公園、忠武公銅像等景點可一併參觀。鎮南館不僅是拍照打卡的好地方，也是感受麗水歷史底蘊的必訪景點，非常適合喜歡 歷史建築、韓國傳統文化 的旅客前往體驗。
