Well, where to begin?! I have honestly been coming to Tenerife for the past 20 years and went on multiple excursions; so I can genuinely say this is the worst excursion I've ever encountered. To begin with, we were picked up in what appeared to resemble a bin (no garage would ever pass the MOT on this 'vehicle'- WHERE ARE THE SEAT BELTS?). Upon arrival at the quad safari warehouse, we asked whether swapping drivers on the double quad was possible, as it had been previously promised to us by multiple sale reps. Numerous other couples asked the same question and we were all met with a torrent of abuse and made to feel as if we were in the wrong when this clearly was a miscommunication between the company and the reps. After finally accepting a swap wouldn't be possible we stood with the rest of the group and waited to board the quads; only to be dramatically pulled aside and told to take our helmets off as we were now not allowed to even ride them because we were 'in a mood' and 'making them feel nervous' (sorry we weren't ecstatic at the fact we'd been sold overpriced lies, but then again 'it's only €100' (as rudely stated by staff member MATEO). After consistently being denied access we asked for a refund and to be taken to the excerusion office we initially purchased from. When arriving at the office the quad safari boss refused to get of out the car (as promised again) to speak to the sale rep and sort the massive miscommunication. We therefore refused to leave the car too as we were not willing to get to the office and be further denied a refund (as stated when speaking to the office on the phone in the quad safari warehouse). This sparked the driver to rapidly speed off with us in the van with no seat belts and the door WIDE OPEN and simultaneously screaming abuse in Spanish. I am aware this whole scenario appears dramatic and long winded but I can't express enough how utterly disgusting the whole experience was. At the end of the day we were ROBBED of €100+. There are so many other good quad companies that will go the extra mile who I would perfuesly advise you book with, rather than this travesty...

We booked the 1hour Quad safari - which wasn't a safari but a dirt track.
We got picked up from out hotel and dropped off at the venue. Was not given a safety briefing at all.
While waiting we looked at a large picture of a rider and was speaking about the safety gear that was in the picture and felt good about safety....WE WERE WRONG!
The only safety gear we got was glasses and a helmet. The picture had someone wearing large protective boots, gloves, sunglasses, a helmet and a full body suit. At this point we were a little worried.
We had a quick go on the quad bikes to see if we could operate them, something to note is that these bikes ARE SOLO USE ONLY something we later found out. DO NOT USE AS A COUPLE AS IT BECOMES VERY DANGEROUS.
After 1 lap of the course we were left to our own devices with only 1 person looking after all of us, unfortunately this meant that he left people alone for long durations of time.
At some point we went up the little ramps which were too steep and too close together which meant after going up we had a sharp descent where my foot came off the quad bike as there wasn't enough space for both our feet and my foot was bent in the opposite direction. At this point the marshall came over and just said I should walk it off without even examining the injury even after I got off the bike and sat on the floor in pain.
I then sent my partner away telling her to enjoy the remaining time we had while I sat and assessed my foot.
At some point my partner fell off the quad bike and managed to get a small rock lodge into her hand, which could have been avoided if she had been given gloves.
They did a little bit of first aid and dropped us off at our hotel. Needless to say that we went to the hospital and had to get stiches for her.
If you come here you will get hurt, you have...
Read moreEdit: they guides were really nice and fun and they made every effort to make sure we are safe. Read on if you want to hear my emotional rant about the salesman on the beach affecting my day. I would give this 3 star if the salesman in adeje didn't sell us the volcano tour. When we arrived we drove around a car park then slowly escalated up the mountain. Aside from my quadbike trundling to a stop twice in traffic and me having to sit idle in the road - the first hour was null and boring. Once we arrived at the mountain cafe I was excited to be almost at Teide. To my despair we turned around and rolled down the hill to a muddy track. This would have been fun if I could follow the trail at high speed but being stuck behind a flock of mongloids truly tainted my enjoyment. For context, the quads are capped at 45 kmph and I failed to achieve full speed once. After asking the guide if we were going to the volcano he said no. This was the third most painful moment of my life. Accepting that I had been sold dreams and had them pulled from my grasp, I was starting to enjoy the slow drive down the mountains facing the glorious sea view. The end was near however to my despair we were stopped at a roundabout by the police and had to have all our bikes inspected. The stoned guides panicked to show the bikes were indeed in tact and were glad that their spliffs weren't spotted. All in all a fun day but could have been much better. Not to fault the guides but for 55 euros my day would have been significantly better if it involved volcanoes. To top it off my friends and I went for a beer but they all went home because they were...
