ALSA — Attraction in Benidorm

Benidorm-Alicante. Avoid this company. You cannot pay with the card in the bus. What company is this? Even local buses in Alicante have card payment. This is supposed to take me to the airport for 1h direct drive. Online you only are allowed 30min before leaving and with a commission of 3€ using their app. Too late by the time the bus driver is saying he only accepts cash. Are we paying taxes here? Now using a cash machine that takes a commission of 6€ for a 50€ bill (different story) is not accepted either as is too big he said. Regulation of Alsa is they have to give u back as much as a bill of 20€. He just refused me to get into the bus saying i need to pay him the money exact amount 30.02€ in cash. Where is the math 50-30 20? Calling the alsa phone telling them their own rules are not respected still did not do anything. Btw drivers do not speak english in Benidorm. Terrible experience today 22/09/2025 15:10 bus. The driver did not accept online tickets and made people buy from the counter ( basically paying twice ) . We did not buy a ticket as we previously went to alicante with the same bus and we were abe to buy from tickets from the bus. The driver was incredibly rude and even tho I told him I am not Spanish he asked me to speak in Spanish with him. He was late and did not want to wait for us to get the tickets . ( I have already used Google translation to communicate we were not aware that we cannot buy bus tickets but he said to me to get another bus. Been waiting 30min in the station cos he was late only for him to be very rude and ignorant. I wouldn't recommend using this company for transport. Awful experience so better get taxi or another company to transfer...

We use this bus service every time we visit Benidorm. There’s no train station at the airport, so at just under €10 each one way it’s much cheaper alternative to a taxi. It stops at Benidorm bus station, then goes on to Av. de Europa.

For your return to Alicante Airport I recommend you buy a ticket in advance. The bus we went to the airport on was fully booked, a lady who tried to pay the driver was turned away . Alsa have a ticket office in the El Centro shopping precinct which is near the bus stop on Av. de Europa and there is also one at the bus station. You can also book tickets online but when I last checked there was a booking fee so it’s more expensive, plus they won’t accept the ticket on your phone screen so you would need access to a printer to...
