We had an opportunity to do a private tour with Ruben in English. He was exceptionally passionate about wine and it was interesting to learn about how their winery is doing different techniques than the traditional Rioja wine. The wine and appetizers were amazing!! It was great to get a tour at a smaller winery compared to the very commercial operations in the area. Would highly recommend for anyone and this is easy to get to from logroño...

He is a pioneer in implementing various new techniques to his winery within La Rioja and I truly enjoy all his wines (6 types), especially the young ones.

We visited mazuela with our two kids 9 & 7. When we arrived they said “this your home” and honestly it felt like tasting with family. We were made so welcome and the kids drew on barrels and then then made their own bottles of wine with custom labels… all this and I haven’t mentioned the wine 🤩 the wine delivered, as did the vermut. We had such a lovely afternoon....
