Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres — Attraction in Cenicero

We, as a family had an unnforgettable Wine Experience at Marqes des Cecares! We had the privilege of spending three unforgettable days with our amazing guide, Natalia, exploring all three wineries owned by the Marqes des Cecares brand. From the moment we stepped foot in the first vineyard, we felt like welcomed guests rather than just tourists.

Natalia was an exceptional guide – knowledgeable, passionate, and attentive. She shared with us not only her deep expertise but also her love for wine and the history and roots of these wineries. Her dedication made sure we experienced not only the fine wines but also the culture and philosophy behind the brand. Each winery we visited had its own unique charm, and the tastings were truly a sensory journey, also special thanks to Manuel at la Capilla.

The wines themselves were outstanding – perfectly balanced, with deep and complex flavors that delighted our palates. We were particularly impressed by the innovative approaches to production, blending tradition with modern techniques in a way that honors the terroir while adding freshness and dynamism to every sip. We had the chance to improve our pallets and and explore new flavors.

The entire experience, from the hospitality to the vineyard landscapes, beautifully designed cellars, and of course, the wines, was truly memorable.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Marqes des Cecares team, Kristina, Fernando, Manuel, Karmen, Raul and especially to Natalia, for their professionalism, warm welcome, and for making this visit one of the best wine experiences we’ve had to date. We can’t wait to return!

Set in the lovely town of Cenicero where we stayed. Beautiful and historic winery with great wines to taste at the end of the tour. Just six people on our visit so easy to see and hear. Natalia is an excellent and passionate guide and conducted the tour in very good English for the benefit of the other guests. Great prices in the shop at the end. We'll definitely...

Este sábado, tres matrimonios de Cantabria tuvimos el placer de visitar en Cenicero, la gran Bodega "Marqués de Cáceres". La experiencia, increíble, inolvidable. Fuimos recibidos por Miguel, el Jefe de Ventas, un crack!! Atención excepcional, nos contó su profundo conocimiento y pasión sobre la Bodega (su casa), la historia, de los excelentes vinos que producen. Su admiración y compenetración con su Jefa, "Cristina Forner", un ejemplo para él. Nos hablo de sus compañeros, "una familia de 70 personas ”. Insistir en su trato, su cercanía y el cariño desinteresado demostrado por Miguel. En la visita hay que destacar también a Ainonha, por su trato cariñoso, por la excelente comida que nos preparo y la calidad de los ingredientes. Cada plato, pensado para complementar perfectamente los vinos. Gracias Ainhoa. Por ultimo, no se nos puede olvidar mencionar a Valentín por su simpatía y disposición.
