MEDUSA FESTIVAL — Attraction in Cullera

First time at the festival, and we were not that disappointed with the experience, although many things could be done to improve it and we would most likely not return again.

First of all, we stayed in the camping because it was close and convenient but it turns out it s not that convenient and hotels or airbnbs close wouldve been better and for the same price. Do not stay in the camping, its not worth it for the money.

Apart from that, the festival itself is not that well organized. The line up was pretty strong, and we had fun at all of the concerts we went to, but what really bothered us was the fact that you could hear the music (VERY loudly) from the other stages while you were at the Main stage or any other one. I understand it s a festival and the music is loud, but you couldnt focus on the music from the stage you were at at all. Next, the circulation was very bad. Another thing is that you couldnt re-entry the festival (unless you paid 15€/person) and I have never seen a festival do this before. It was pretty dirty at the toilets, paths, next to the stages and right next to the festival because of everyone drinking and throwing bottles leaving them on the paths.

On the plus side, the sound (when you could focus on it) was amazing and the light show was incredible. I assume this is what they are most famous for and they deliver that. People do not speak english but they try their best to understand you. Everyone is friendly. Would only recommend if you plan on getting very drunk so you are not bothered by all the...

Music is fine but I heard sound from other stage on the MAIN stage.

Organization is so so, I waited 40 minutes to get VIP bracelet. Security staff is rude and have “big boss” síndrome. Navigation is not good. Especially in places having strict direction of movement. Some barmens in the vip zone bar do not know how to pour a drink without spilling the glass. Better name for this VIP zones is “general entrada plus”. Because difference from general are only separate area with bar and WC. Situation in 2025 is the same as in 2024. They do not improve festival. Unfortunately.

Surroundings of the festival are very dirty in the day of event. Many people are drinking outside festival and throwing trash under themselves.

Este año tuve la oportunidad de asistir al Medusa Festival 2024 en Cullera, y tengo que decir que la experiencia fue absolutamente increíble. Desde el momento en que llegué, me di cuenta de por qué este festival es uno de los más destacados de la música electrónica en Europa.

Lo primero que me impresionó fue el escenario principal. La temática, que mezclaba mitología con toques futuristas, era espectacular. Todo el lugar estaba envuelto en una atmósfera mágica gracias a las luces, las pantallas LED y los efectos especiales. De verdad, cada actuación parecía transportarnos a un mundo diferente, y la música se sentía aún más poderosa en ese ambiente.

La alineación de artistas fue otro de los grandes puntos a favor del Medusa. Tuve la suerte de ver en vivo a gigantes como Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, y Carl Cox. Cada uno de ellos puso toda la energía en sus sets, y el público lo vivió al máximo. Pero lo que más me gustó fue la oportunidad de descubrir nuevos talentos que, aunque no tan conocidos, lograron captar la atención de todos con sus propuestas frescas y originales.

La organización también merece un gran reconocimiento. A pesar de la gran cantidad de personas, todo funcionó de manera muy eficiente. Los accesos eran rápidos, las zonas de descanso estaban bien distribuidas, y los servicios eran más que suficientes para cubrir la demanda. Me sentí cómodo y seguro en todo momento, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más disfrutable.

Claro, no todo fue perfecto. El transporte al final del día podría haber sido un poco más organizado, ya que hubo algunas aglomeraciones que hicieron que salir del recinto fuera un poco caótico. Sin embargo, este detalle no opacó lo que fue, en general, un evento espectacular.

En definitiva, el Medusa Festival 2024 superó todas mis expectativas. La combinación de música, arte y tecnología hizo de este evento una experiencia inolvidable. Sin duda, es un festival que recomendaría a cualquiera que ame la música electrónica, y personalmente, estoy deseando repetir el...
