Parking Sa Calobra / Torrent de Pareis — Attraction in Escorca

Parking fine when we arrived, there was also plenty of space. But what put us off was the very unpleasant and arrogant car park attendant, absolutely unwilling to help us resolve the situation with the non-functioning payment terminal, fortunately everything worked in the end, but if it hadn't we would probably still be standing in the car park today. I understand that it's hard to find good attendants, but people who are fundamentally angry with visitors should definitely not be working in these services. So we confirm the comments below - a very arrogant gentleman will first tell you that you can't pay by card, but you insist, wait and see, in 10 minutes everything will be possible. Carefully calculate the minutes you will spend here. The bald man with the beard should stick to what is written on the window, namely "stay positive" + he should add to that being helpful to the people who pay a lot of money for parking here. But who knows, he's probably hurt so he keeps on hurting and...

Many of the reviews here are for Sa Calobra and/or the Torrent, rather than the car park. My review is of the car park. It's a car park and one of the few that we've encountered that aren't free or where you can't use the EasyPark app.

We arrived early, but after 0930, and got in easy and parked relatively near the front. We had no issue with the security and did not see any problems. We left just after 1pm and there was a queue to exit. We found out that the card machine is very unreliable because of the phone signal. We were lucky that in the third attempt it worked and it cost us €7.90. My advice is to have some cash with you, but bear in mind that there's nowhere to get cash once you're there.

The man in the ticket booth was critical that I had only one means of payment with me, which seems harsh when I've not had any card payment issues anywhere else on the island this...

Daylight robbery!!! Ask for card payment! Or receipt! Otherwise you will be robbed. Two cars, entered same time left same time different prices! Difference by two Euros! The display of cash desk is deliberately not showing anything, the cash machines are switched off, the only way of payment is in the stressful situation before leaving (with queue of cars. Please stop this robbery! Everybody ask for receipts, card payment (they say it is impossible because of technical issues, weak signal, blah blah…) stop this daylight robbery on tourists! Argue, leave the car and go find the note of not possible card payment and imaginary tariff. (once they said 3€/h once 2,5€/h and here in reviews you can find also 3,5€/h They just think you will not do it and pay whatever nonsense they will...
