Wer den typischen Wind der Kanaren sucht, findet ihn hier. Man kann den Surfern und Kitern zuschauen und auf dieser Seite des Montaña roja auch baden. Es ist leicht zu finden, man folgt von Süden der TF1 und fährt dann ab in Médano. Mit etwas Geduld findet man einen Parkplatz, am besten ganz runter fahren bis zur Promenade und dann links halten. Dort kommen gratis Parkplätze. Gemütliche Cafés und Restaurants an der Promenade, sonst gibt es wenig zu sehen. Für einen halben Tag lohnt es sich sehr.

The wind is quiet strong here so it is a great location for surfing. We came as a group to do beach cleanup here and there were no large visible trash but a lot of micro plastics in the sand. I really like the view here as it stretches across a large section of the island. A great place to visit and...

Came here in January and the water was pretty cold and it is very windy. Perfect for wind Surfing and sport but not super great for laying out and relaxing. The beach on the other side of El Madena is a waaay better beach for that. We found a lot of sea glass on this beach which was...
