Beautiful, long and romantic beach. You can choose from many bars, restaurants, etc. near the beach. What I immediately fell in love was the soft and amazing sand. Somehow I dont have enough superlatives words on El Medano, but it's true. The sand is soft, pleasant, comfortable and shiny. It is a volcanic area, and black sand glitters with silver parts, as if it were an expensive treasure in which to run. He runs very well on the long coast. You can also run barefoot here. The entrance to the sea is pleasant without stones. Near the beach there are showers for sand rinsing, both for the whole body and specially shower for yours foot. Jedna část pláže je pro návštěvníky a všechny, kteří si chtějí zaplavat nebo se opalovat. Druhá část je pro surfing a windsurfing, kde probíhají lekce, které si vy můžete objednat. A really nice place to go back to. It is true that it blows a bit more on this southern part of the island, but it is pleasant and one gets used...

Life guards on duty between certain hours. If you have mobility issues they have apparatus on wheels....on the beach you sit and they strap you in and take you into the sea. I feel this would need to be booked...but a marvellous idea for less able bodied people to experience the sea. I have seen this apparatus in action and it is wonderful to see young and old going into the sea to splash around, with life guards in attendance. Fantastic idea. There is a Tourist Information Centre in El Medano and I am sure they would be able to assist you with more information than I can put. Saturday they have a general Market until 14.00. Well...
