Ive never left a google review but i was so impressed with my visit i felt the need to. Upon arrival we were greeted with air conditioning (which was highly needed and very appreciated) and very friendly staff. The actual museum itself is very clean, easy to understand and has a beautiful collection of Roman , Punic and Phoenician history. We took our time looking around but staff was always seconds away if we had any questions. Also wanted to mention that there are kids tables with colouring activities to keep little ones occupied, but the artefacts are interesting enough by themselves in my opinion. After we toured the inside of the museum, we headed outside to see the necropolis, but my favourite part had to be the underground section where you could climb down into and see the tombs. Heading back inside , we were greeted by the same lovely staff (who i forgot to mention speak great English) and not only did they call a taxi for us, they also provided us with water while we waited. The souvenirs here are some of the cheapest and nicest ive seen out of the European countries ive visited and there really is something for everyone. The staff also refused to take any sort of tip or donation. They seemed genuinely happy to do their job and have people enjoy and learn history. Ontop of everything else, it was all completely free. Its a real shame it was so empty (we were obviously grateful to have it all to ourselves though) because it really is worth visiting. It was a perfect way to end our week in ibiza and would highly recommend.

This was such a great museum, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and it is free! After watching a short video covering the basic history of the island (available in multiple languages), you can go upstairs in the museum to see the artifacts recovered from the burial site and go outside to see the excavated grounds. It was very interesting to see 3 different eras and people buried in the same grave, with separate preparations from the era and culture and to go underground to see the layout of the graves as well as see the shafts from above. Very interesting check-in with history while in Ibiza

Wonderful museum! We stumbled across this museum and archaeological site quite by accident in the summer whilst walking from Figueretas into Ibiza Town, what we found when we visited was amazing! Staff were so very friendly, the artefacts on display truly wonderful and access to the dig site well worth a visit. Would thoroughly recommend a visit, we will be going back for a 2nd visit this summer.

This place was amazing. They may not have anything written translated into English yet, but all of the many videos do have an English translation option. They have many, many artifacts, and some burial caves for you to explore on your own. Not to mention the selection of jewelry and replicas in the gift shop that would great as any souvenir or present! Plus, three cute goats to cut the grass!

Great and interesting little museum and archaeological site with very friendly staff and a nice museum shop. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our visit a lot and can definitely recommend a visit to people interested in history or archeology. Admission is free. The museum uses audio-visual exhibits and all signs are available in Spanish and English.
