Ibiza is so completely the party place!!!! No one sleeps before 6 am and nothing moves before the afternoon. We were so surprised when we landed on a thursday afternoon to see how quiet the place was. Party capital.... really??? But come Friday and the place was buzzing with activity, tourists poured in from everywhere and it got the look and feel of a proper beach town. A lil heads up.... all the parties start after 12 am so spend your afternoons sleeping. There are no online cab services, you can either walk to the nearest cab stand or call for a radio cab. Most of them speak english so conversation is not an issue and overall the place is more expensive as compared to other tourist spots... there are several good places to eat along the waterfront and sangria is everywhere mostly sold by the pitcher. Do the walk around the old town and the beach hopping boat excursion. Stay close to the waterfront and you will enjoy your...

Eivissa Harbour is a lovely place to stroll, with great views of the old town and the sea. It has a lot of charm, especially early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s a bit quieter.

But during the day, it gets packed with tourists from cruise ships. It can feel overcrowded and loses the laid-back Ibiza atmosphere.

The biggest downside is the restaurants around the harbour. Many are overpriced and clearly set up for tourists. Expect to pay a lot for very average food and drinks. A simple meal or drink can cost more than it should, and the quality doesn’t match the price.

Nice for a walk and a few photos, but better to eat and relax somewhere away from the harbour if you want a more authentic and reasonably...

Awful place. Booked by phone about 3 hours before arrival. It took about 9 minutes. After being repeatedly asked about boat dimensions, the lady said they had a place and asked if we wanted to know the price. We wanted. Next morning the price was around 20% more than quoted. After complaining about what I considered unethical commercial practices and asked for the complaint book, I was called to an office where I explained again my reasons to complain. The answer was rude, on the limits of the acceptable. He gave orders to the desk to charge me on a lower size rate and to write down carefully the boat's name... Unacceptable on o port of...

An elegant old harbour that has undergone /is undergoing a tasteful modernisation. The old town looks down onto the harbour that shares space with the marina and ferry terminal - slick sailing boats and yachts nestled together. Ferry companies run a service to Formentera that actually can be seen from the harbour along the Balearic Archipelago. Larger cruise ships also use the harbour and can been seen close-up when passing on the ferry. Whitewashed [Town] houses with coloured accents complete the look, stunning. With restaurants and bars galore it is worth a visit even if you are not travelling anywhere.

Ibiza's busy cruise port and harbor. If you are out and about in the morning hours you can find folks who are still keeping the dream alive from the previous nights clubbing or sleeping it off in the playground swings. There is a variety of restaurants, bars and your typical tourist shops in the area. I would strongly recommend keeping your hand on your wallet in your front pocket or a tight grip on your cross body bag. As with any heavily touristic area you will have those people out there looking for an opportunity to take advantage of travelers that aren't paying attention.

Old Town Ibiza - A must see. Some of the most amazing sights/views, restaurants and shops. Infact we went twice purely because it was so stunning. There are restaurants overlooking the beautiful boat harbour where there are some amazing boats and ways to commute to other parts of the island. When we went (early May) There was a medieval festival we attended which had entertainment, stalls and a selection of food and drink on offer. This was all around the old castle which had a amazing atmosphere. A must if you enjoy shopping especially.
