Perfect beach!!!! Parking directly under the beach itself, and during 6 years of coming here, we've never experienced not finding a spot. So not only is the car close by, but it's also cool being out of the sun. That - combined with the charming, pittoreske, multicolored beachfront with plenty of restaurants, makes this one of our favourite beaches to visit. The fine, soft sand cleaned every night and the long shallow ground when entering the clean, clear water - really makes not only this beach, but all of nine beaches around the small fishing village of Villajoyosa deserve The Blue Ribbon (a European award for high quality, standard, clean sand and water etc.) which they all have received. This beach - or in fact - this whole area, is sincerely worth checking out. Whatever you're looking for, from beaches with activities, opportunities for water-sports and a social atmosphere - all the way to small, isolated and hidden beaches you might have almost to yourself. Read moreThe sand is magnificent, you have all type of bars next to the beach, is great for kids as the sea level is really low so they can enjoy the water calmly, you can have a cold drink on the towel as you have all type of stores close by, it has the blue flag all year round, loads of seashell to collect, the port view is wow as the ships bring fish all day long from the fish farm near the beach, for lunch you can have british food, indian, italian, spanish and chinese, it has quite a good variety of shops and restaurants and then most wonderful part of all near the Allon Hotel you have an electric staircase which lifts you up to the Cafe Valor for those afternoon when you are so tired to go up the hill into the city. You even have 2 spaces designated for children where they can enjoy climbing and swinging. On the coloured houses part of the beach you also have palm trees in the sand so you don't need to bring your umbrella and keep cool under the palm shade. It is one of the best beaches...
