Great place for dinner in Palas de Reis. It's not very big and it's very popular so you may not be seated immediately. However, what they do is take your phone number and call you as soon as a table is free. This worked very well, and we were seated after about 20 minutes, during which time we simply went to another bar for a quick drink. As for the food itself, everything was lovely. We had tortilla de patata, pimientos del padrón and the tabla de quesos.

Great local spot. I got to town early and went to try some of the famous pulpa, but sadly they were already sold out! The cosy place was packed at 2pm. The pimento peppers were amazing, and not spicy at all. I also had the cheese and meat plate, which was a great sampler. The servers were very patient with my poor Spanish skills. Overall a great experience. I only removed a star because they were out of pulpa!

Had to wait more than half an hour to find a place to seat. ✔ Tasty food, pulpo the most. ✔ Overall nice quality. ✖ They order you to leave the surroundings and there're clearly no places to stay, so uncomfortable under the blazing sun. ✖ Noisy and a bit dirty, sticky wooden tables.

The place deserves 3 stars only for the food. They do no reservation, only a waiting list is due in order of arrival to the place (in case the place ia full). We were a group of 5 for a dinner, they suggestes us to sit outside at a tiny bar table, which we accepted. In order to eat in a comfortable way, we asked for another table 3 times at a waitress whilst she only said "I'm gonna ask for it", which never happened. After already eating the 3rd dish, another waitresa finally confirmed that no more tables are available. Horrible because there were other groups arriving afterwards and they could all seat in a proper way... And although they recognized it later, they had overcharged us with...

Pulperia A Nosa Terra is located on Palas de Rei main square and it is a small but very busy place, where you have either to show up very early to get a table or queue. The restaurant has a certain ambiance, rustic but warm, while the service is efficient but far from friendly. The food choice is quite fair and covers the most common and famous local specialities, first and foremost the octopus. We tried it of course, together with empanadas gallega and a selection of local cheeses with hams and salami. While the food was not bad at all, it did not justify all the hype and queues for this restaurant, considering also that, for the local average, it is...

For those who criticise the “poor service” or “attitude”, maybe just try and speak a little Spanish? I had a fantastic meal, served promptly and with a smile. Why? Because I tried (my best) to order my drinks and meal in, the, local, language. I witnessed countless people walk in and just start speaking English. Not even an attempt at bad Spanish. How arrogant?! My food - Raxo (Pork loin- Galician style) was excellent. The best I’ve had. The house wine, also very good. The empanada was fab too. And the ice cold beer when we first arrived, hit the spot. This is the best restaurant in about about a 50K radius! Would happily eat there...
