Mercadona — Attraction in Ronda

Reasonable range of products, could get what we wanted. Amazingly fast and cheery young man on the checkout, easy underground parking and bar code to exit without paying IF you have been shopping in Mercadona. Huge 'bag for life ' which I use back in the UK. Main drawbacks are common to Spanish supermarkets and NOT a criticism but a shortage of good quality ready meals. I cook from scratch at home but prefer not to on holiday but neither do I tend to eat out, which is not the Spanish way. But notwithstanding, Mercadona is convenient to shop at. Great for everyday shopping, wide variaty of fresh products of high qiality. Also good for a quick snack when travelling (they have designated area for this). My favourite chain overall. Sorry we don't have anything that good...
