It's a magical place on Earth! It is a must that you need to check out on Tenerife and the Canary Islands. Wonderfull view, unic seashore and a real atmospheric location. The restaurants on the shoreline are giving the most fresh fish, but you'd better to think it over about what you order... Specially in Casa Africa. The food is the best, the service is family like, and you won't be able to eat everthing, but it too good to send it back, so take away or getting stuffed like a turkey! If you want to try to eat on the beach, I have eaten at Playa La Casa Africa, it was the cheapest, I was pleased, 10 euros for some cooked mussels, a coffee with milk and a local sauce called Mojo, I think the sauce was from the house. Read moreBlack sand, low tide in the morning and high tide in the evening. Fairly strong waves (there are constantly surfers), especially if there is a strong wind, and very variable weather. The beach is characteristic of the island and offers plenty of space to enjoy the sea without being on top of each other. Travelling east, there are 2 other similar beaches and both are within a 20/25 minute walk. Lifeguards are always present and monitor the situation constantly.
