La Ola is a wonderful place to go for a really good setting in a lovely little village. But that's only the start, the menu was mouth watering and made it difficult to make a choice. But don't worry the owner was there to give an accurate description of the dishes and he was so helpful, he made suggestions which he thought would suit our taste, he was totally correct. Incidentally the owner gave different advice to suit the customers on different tables The meals were exceptional, with extremely good combinations of flavours and excellent quality ingredients. All that other positive reviewers have reported about their experience at La Ola are totally correct. The owner is very conscientious about providing top quality meals and service to his customers. If you get to the village and want a wonderful meal and personal service, this is the...

Not too many veggie options, but I would recommend it purely based on the fact that the Mojo Rojo was the best! Fresh and garlicy served with warm bread rolls. We also got a master class on the Papas Arrugadas (crinkly potatoes with skin) and how it's become the dish of choice for tourists! The owner was frank with us about taking a table and not really having a full meal - which we can understand - showing up at peak lunch hour is not ideal for business if you're not going to have much. In other places we have had horrible looks if we just end up having a drink each and a starter - mainly because there are not good veggie options. At least here we explained the situation, and he was ok with us just having a little bite as long as we're not sat there for ages. So it was a sort of happy medium. But oh was it the best mojo ever! Fresh...

I travel around a world a lot. I was hardly looking for a place that wouldn't be a tourist trap. After my visit in La Ola, I feel like I came to Tenerife to find this place. And to be honest, after a lunch we had here, I would fly here from any place on the planet. I had the best Octopus in my life here. The owner of the place has very warm heart, shared with us his personal stories how he end up at this place. This place brings so much Happiness that there are no words to describe it. Make sure you get your reservation, as place is fully booked all the time. We were lucky to get the table after quite short waiting outside. I am honestly touched by this visit and this is definitely number one experience on Tenerife, regarding the food, number one so far in my life. ❤️ Muchas Gracias and...

Best meal all week in Tenerife. A bit hard to access but the location is worth it for the views. The beef lasagna I took was very tasty and well presented with an original shape, and still well cooked through. The passion cake was good, perhaps slightly too sweet. We also took : parmesan eggplant which was our vegetarian friend's favorite of the week, very juicy with a sweet pepper sauce and pesto; fries and chorizo and egg that was well appreciated, and the seafood rice was fresh with a good selection inside. Finally the canary cake was excellent, a light version of cheesecake. Definitely worth a detour if you're visiting the forest!
