A beautiful temple located near general post office in Vadodara . Must say it is one of the great ancient architecture and marvelous sculptures. It's a Sun ☀ temple, Inside temple you can find beautiful statue of Lord Sun who is riding on seven Horses. It is also call Sapta (seven) Ashwa (horses) Ratha (vehicle) of Surya (Sun). It's a Devine place. A big elephant statue is also placed in front of temple. Very well maintained and clean garden in surrounding.

Small and very old temple. Situated in a crowded place buy still holds it serene calmness. Map shows wrong direction make sure to ask around also some pics in net don't match up with the actual place it was bummer for me the first time we visited and took some time researching to confirm. You will find a elephant at entrance I not you are in wrong place. Photography is not allowed inside the temple.

Temple is beautiful with mind blowing architect..since situated in the midst of city crowd...temple has a calm arena..photography not allowed. On Entrance there is big elephant facing the Lord Surya...U can spend hardly 10min there ..as no crowd..and I think this temple must gained much popularity once the authorities started working to make temple more developed..popular and arena upto the mark.
