Hornsbergs strandpark is a park along Ulvsundasjön on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. The park was part of the program for Northwest Kungsholmen and was built on filled land in Ulvsundasjön and was created partly for the new residential area at Hornsberg's beach and partly to connect the footpath around Kungsholmen which was previously interrupted by an industrial area and a port facility on northwestern Kungsholmen. Read morePerfect place for a picnic, but during most warm days the park is crowded. You can take a swim as the water is clean. The park is really clean as well. There is not much to do for children as there are no entertainment for children near by.
I recommend buying a disposable grill, and barbecuing on one of the small pears during the evening. Or taking a jog along the water a warm summer evening.
There is a grocery store nearby and a lot of restaurants/bars in the area. Parking can become a problem if you want to park near the water. But you can find underground...
