A lovely way to kill an hour or two with the children.

Located in the centre of the city of Aarau, there is ample parking nearby.

The Naturama is spread over several floors with different habitats and time periods on each floor. On the top floor there's a play area where the children can actively participate in several events.

My only complaint about this otherwise wonderful place is that there are very few labels informing the visitor what they are actually looking at. My little one was asking about the skulls on display but none of them had any labels attached at all. Several other exhibits do not have labels either.
