After the venue discriminated against me for my disability, I sent them this email today (abridged version here):
I am writing to complain about the disability discrimination and utter chaos I experienced at yesterday's concert, despite my having attempted to coordinate with you over two months in advance. The discrimination should not have happened at all, but its occurrence is inexcusable in light of my extensive efforts to give you fair warning of my arrival with my assistance dog.
I have extensive records of email conversations with your colleagues in advance of my visit. Your colleagues promised that my access requirements of bringing my assistance dog and skipping the queues would be met. I was also assured that the security staff would be aware of my arrival with my dog. Sarah instructed me to check in at Kasse 3 on the concert day. Yesterday, the following happened:
Upon arrival at the Stadion, none of the staff knew the location of Kasse 3. I had to spend a long time looking, even with the map Sarah provided, suffering in the heat, which affects my disability, because your staff kept pointing me in the wrong direction. Every time I asked an employee, they told me I couldn't bring my dog with me and attempted to force me out. When I finally found Kasse 3, not one of them knew anything about my having an assistance dog. After asking multiple times to be escorted to security, someone finally took me, but tried to make me wait in the queue. I insisted to be taken to the front, where the security team still tried to force me out. An employee also touched my dog, who was wearing a red jacket with medical symbols and a huge sign reading "DO NOT TOUCH".
In between Paramore and Taylor Swift, we left our seats to go eat dinner from a food truck. We returned several minutes before Taylor Swift began playing and the following happened:
As I was walking down the stairs and back to my seat, a security guard grabbed my arm 3 times and physically prevented me from returning to my seat, saying I wasn't allowed to have my dog in the stadium. I kept trying to ignore him and continue walking but he kept grabbing me against my will. Instead of talking to me while grabbing me, he kept talking to someone else on his radio device, completely ignoring me. I told him multiple times that I had already cleared my dog and did not need his permission because I had already been in the stadium for over 2 hours. Because I was worried this guard would injure me, I called out to my fiancé walking in front of me, who is a lawyer and explained our legal position to the guard. This guard then had the audacity to tell him to "calm down" after having the nerve to touch me, discriminate against me, and delay us.
Because of your guard's discrimination, we were delayed so long that we missed the beginning of the concert, having attempted to return to our seats well in advance. We traveled internationally from London to see this concert and were angered to have missed some of it due to your gross negligence. As a disabled person with an assistance dog, I needed ample time to return to my seat and bring my dog with me. We also needed time to go put my dog's ear protection on to protect his hearing before the music started, which we were unable to do. Because of your discrimination, you have potentially damaged my assistance dog's hearing. We struggled to return to our seats because once the concert started, everyone was filming it and dancing, so nobody wanted to move to allow us to return to our seats. This never would have happened had your guard left us alone.
The stress and humiliation of being publicly physically assaulted by your guard completely ruined this concert for which we spent inordinate amounts of money traveling internationally to attend, having bought the tickets nearly a year in advance. I am therefore requesting a refund for our two tickets and a complete explanation of the measures your administration will take to prevent this from happening...

Read moreI attend the Robbie Williams concert, and upon arrival we joined the exceptional long line of people waiting to enter the stadium, after half an hour we found out there was a bag size check to which we new nothing about, it was exceptional small, to which you had to leave and enter another long line of people to deposit your bag. Being from the UK we had no prior information regarding this. Inside the stadium itself was ok (nothing special) however on exiting the stadium is where the problem lies. The crowd control and organisation on exiting the stadium was completely nonexistent and totally unacceptable. All attendees exited the stadium through several gates into a side street, which was also the same side street where the baggage reclamation tents were sited. Thus causing a chaotic and panic situation whereby thousands of people were now trapped trying to move in different directions. In turn we were being pushed and shoved within the crowd to such a point that we were being carried without our feet touching the floor, the claustrophobic situation caused panic and at this point I hand on heart thought I was going to die as a knew, if I was to fall to the ground I would be trampled. A night I wish to never repeat or remember, I will definitely not be attending this...
