We popped by this place for a short visit. It's really a very peaceful place with a profound historical meaning. The place is really well maintained and with plenty of English descriptions. It would be best if you visited this place if you are interested in the residence of the first president of Taiwan.

陽明書屋，原名中興賓館，建於民國58至59年間，曾是前總統蔣中正接待貴賓及避暑的地方。現為陽明山國家公園的重要文化場所。

專程到石牌捷運站搭小8公車到陽明書屋站下車，再步行約十分鐘到達陽明書屋遊客服務站！先看了一下介紹影片，就去實地参觀，及去後棟大忠館参觀！後來報名下午2：30中興賓館（陽明書屋）導覽解說，由一位導覽解說志工帶我們3人，由鎖住的門口開門進去参觀！走進去有一個瓶狀道路，是作為停機坪，只剩三棵梅樹都光禿禿，尚未開花！草地上有五個星狀造型，是代表蔣先生是五任總統五星上將！有200個人在崗哨輪流守衛，由中興路進出！再由提字陽明書屋匾額開始解說，整棟綠色較不顯眼，外牆白色才不會太暗，千秋萬歲外面五隻蝙蝠有長壽之意！走進去有左右花園，石頭擺設，一邊烏龜一邊鶴，都代表長壽！中興賓館由七星山大屯山紗帽山包圍，下面有淡水河基隆河流過！是接見外賓和官員黨員開會及避暑的地方！有一二樓及地下室（不准拍照），有接見外賓及宴客的房間，辦公室，醫務室，書房，繪圖室，卧房，衣帽間，浴室廁所！一樓是接見外賓及官員辦公的地方，二樓是生活起居室（還可以放映電影），一個早睡早起，一個晚睡晚起還要吃宵夜！地下室則是放書信文件及躲藏防空祕道！一樓走進去室內，正中央有一幅蔣中正先生全身畫像，由許九齡先生畫的，在一樓室內無論走到哪，彷彿蔣先生都在看你！二樓正中央是一幅孫中山先生全身畫像，也是許九齡先生所畫！一二樓幾乎每間房都有壁爐！從地下室祕道走出去有兩個池塘，前面有兩張圓石椅，是賞魚餵魚的座椅！戶外有梅樹，很幸運看到剛開出的梅花（幾朵小小的白色梅花，還聞得到花香味，及長出第一顆梅子（胭脂梅）！中興賓館蔣先生全程参與建造，搭竹轎由人抬上山！蔣先生不走回頭路，搭別克轎車從前門進後門出，像搭遊園車似的！導覽解說志工從97年做到現在,經驗豐富，解說仔細，說佔地300坪，兩人住剛剛好！民國58年建好，61年生病在此養病，後送去榮總，就沒再回來過了！68年改成陽明書屋，後開放参觀，裡面東西都是台灣製，除了廁所浴缸！導覽解說完已下午3：30，花$80買票請導覽解說員很值得！
