this isn’t a big park, it will take you less than 30mins around both enclosure~ The rules and regulations was clearly mentioned before visiting the animals which was great, there wasn’t any crowd using my visit during the weekday. There’s 2 enclosure, one of which belongs to the capybara! The enclosure was kept clean and there’s also a restricted area where only the capybara could be, although it might limit interaction but i think its a great way to respect the capybara, i was still able to pat the ones nearer to the line. There’s option for you to feed them as well
The other enclosure belongs to the deer, there’s 3 separate enclosure. It categories by the following - nice reachable deers (only ones you can pat) / the naughty deers and lastly the male deers I think it’s pretty self explanatory on why they are separated. Before heading in the staff will properly inform you on what to prepare and what not to do with the deers. You will get a complimentary small dish of leaves (treat) for them which can be fed to all deers in the category above. There’s a hay rack with lots of hay in the enclosure which shows they can reach out food anytime but I do not remember seeing water dish which was not good because it’s hot…
There’s a staff that is in the enclosure throughout cleaning up after them as well as making sure everything is okay in there.
Things I think that the deer area could improvise by providing the same area the capybara had which is the restricted area with a thick layer of hay for them to be since I understand that putting grass all over is pointless as people walk on them all the time and the deers probably will munch the grass 😅 also with the restricted deers I think more shelter could be provided to them. Waters in all enclosure too! 💦
Overall it’s a pleasant experience there, I would highly suggest to wear a baggy pants! Deers may nip you asking you for food if you are holding to any!(they mean no harm) Just keep walking if you’re...
Read moreDeers are my favourite animals and I loved this visit here so much! I was three hours there only to pet the deers, feed them and watching them. So sweet! But to be honest I can’t understand some complaints here in the reviews… this deers are trained on to get food and let humans pet them. So if you have to much food or you are a smaller person it’s can be happen that they want this food and then there are a not so gentle. So buy the food one by one and leave really much this area where you can buy the food.
I don’t speak Chinese and I would recommend it when the info boards are in English or you have some information on papers for English speaking persons.
After all of that and after read the other reviews I think they could show a little bit more about deers what you can read, watch or something like this to learn more about deers.
The little shop in front of has some really nice gifts, I loved the little deer earrings. Perfect gift for a girlfriend, it would be nice if there is some jewellery’s what you can wear as a man. The most was...
