Do not be fooled by the road signs or the locals when they tell you that the park is just a walk down the main road from Luodong Train Station. Yes, it is a walk, But it is at least a half an hour walk. So you should either take a cab, bus (rather long wait), or cycle (use the U bikes, which can be unlocked with your easy travel card (悠游卡).
When you enter the park, you will see a pond where you can feed fishes (buy the fish feed from the dispenser) and ducks (bring your own bread).
The park is rather big, so take a leisure stroll.
There are 2 look out points, I'd recommend the one at the side of the basketball courts, which gives you a somewhat unblocked 360 degree view of the city and the mountains.
