Bitoujiao Lighthouse — Attraction in New Taipei

Path not open and not easily found. Probably and hopefully being maintained and reinforced for safer access (as of May 2020). Other parts of hiking trail is well maintained and really good for 2-4 hours as you soak in the beautiful ocean views. Note there are many steps so be prepared. And bring plenty of water as it can be rather hot...

Great views and well maintained trails. Multiple lookout for you to enjoy the view. Start from the bitou elementary school for a more comfortable route. Note that the trail to lighthouse is closed off. But nonetheless still worth hiking. Takes about 1.5...

A bit walk to get to the place and it all worth it unfortunately the weather was cloudy. The lighthouse is under military protection so you can't walk all the way up. There is also a cafe at the end...
