鼻頭阿珠老店活海鮮 is a must-visit for seafood lovers! The restaurant serves incredibly fresh and delicious seafood, with some of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted.

Highlights: • The flower squid two ways (刺身 and stir-fried) is a standout. The squid is fresh, tender, and flavorful. • The pickled small octopus is perfectly marinated, with a savory, slightly sweet taste that pairs wonderfully with the rest of the meal. • Steamed grouper with winter melon is another must-try. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the combination with winter melon creates a light, refreshing flavor.

The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, with the staff providing excellent service. It’s always busy, especially on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

Luckily to find a parking spot and a table for four (4) of us in a hot summer Saturday high noon. Seafood is always pricey but this restaurant gives you in return with delicious food. Hands down, what else to say? Fried rice with flying fish row in XO sauce is highly recommended, even my 95-year old Mom didn’t waste any. I was in particular impressed with cold plate of fish skin, in fact, several servings were all I can do. Whitebait fish with seaweed soup is worthy every penny, needless to say, you should try it. Had lunch here after our Bitoujiao hike. Pros - fresh seafood, cooking was delicious Cons - overpriced despite being near the port. No prices on the menu. Total amount will be shown to you after you pick your preferred dishes. It shows they're not transparent as it should have the prices for each dish. We were served dessert despite not ordering for it - our fault for thinking this was complementary. A bigger bill was shown to us on the counter.
