Bitan is one of my favorite spots in Taiwan! I spent four days in Taiwan and visited Bitan on our last day. It's a very big relaxing park with a pedestrian bridge over a river that leads to a small village/town area. I would cross the bridge just to see the views from it but there's not a lot on the other side other than a very delicious and must-try sausage-wrap-sausage stand/joint just by the bridge. The owner is super friendly! Back to Bitan.. it reminds me of a countryside town where locals are out on the streets selling their produce and no signs of big corporations.
