IKEA Xindian Store — Local services in New Taipei

I was walking around the rooms when I noticed a couch I really liked. I was unsure of the IKEA system at the time, so I was wondering how I would be able to order the couch.

It took me a while to find a worker, but eventually I found a young worker, who seemed very kind to help me out.

I took him over to the couch and asked him how I would be able to purchase it. Instead of answering my question, he asked me if I’ve already tried out the couch.

I sat back down on the couch to confirm, but when I tried to stand back up, he put his hand on my chest and sat me back down. He then proceeded to sit next to me and “tell me” that I needed to use the code to find the couch downstairs.

I already thought this was weird because he could’ve just told me straight away. When he stood up, he put one of his hands on my thigh and used it as leverage to stand up. On top of this, his hand got uncomfortably close to my groin area.

I quickly walked away and brushed it off, but the more I thought about it the more it disgusted me. I ended up finding the nearest exit and walking out of the store.

I ended up buying a couch that was NT3000 more expensive than the couch at IKEA, but in my opinion, it was worth it if that meant I never had to go back to IKEA again.

I am trying to believe that this was an accident by the worker, but it was too obvious that I believe there was more to it than that.

I kindly ask IKEA to raise their hiring standards, and be careful for the people that they allow to work at this company. Because of this incident, I don’t think I will ever be going back to...

Really beautiful, and with a lot of variety to choose from. You can also have things shipped directly to your house, which is nice.

Their cafeteria offers great food at very good prices. The cakes from the cafeteria are amazingly good. Will definitely come back for more. The fudge chocolate cake was out of this world.

The staff were very nice, and helped us set up and complete our order efficiently. The pricing for products is great, and there are many options to choose from depending on your budget. Here you can find great quality budget products, as well as high class products.

The only thing I did not like was that it's kind of hard to navigate around the store. There's signs for everything depending on where you want to go, but the store is so huge that it will take you a while to get to an exit or to...

Visited the place on Sunday afternoon and it took us time to find an empty parking space so you can guess how crowded the store was. However, the queue weren't that long, probably because they have plenty of cashier sections.

The store is really big, showroom included. You can find pretty much everything, some of their stuff have good deals. I got myself a clothing unit, 20 pcs of plastic hangers, 3 pcs of glass food container with the lid, a glass mug, a broom set, a big storage box, a plastic organizer, a low-head pillow, a summer linen, and all of them cost me 1500 NT.
