Puli Weekend Night Market — Attraction in Puli Township

Came here for an early dinner, really traditional local night market. There's the usual night market style steak, stir fried stalls, etc, but also an increasingly rare ice cream wrapped in spring roll skin. Puli being smacked right in the middle of Taiwan means less seafood options though. There are also stalls you can play carnival games for a chance to win some plushie, again harder to find in smaller night markets. Based on the name of this place, this night market only open on friday and saturday, and i prefer to go on friday night bcs i think they sell more stuff on friday than saturday. Even though the night market is not as big as night market in the big city, but i like the foods here, i usually eat takoyaki, stinky tofu, sweet potato balls, crispy chicken, large cup of black tea, etc. The stinky tofu is so good, it's not that smell, it taste delicious and also the price is very cheap, only 20NTD each. I went when it was raining, so there were fewer stalls than usual. That made the atmosphere less lively and more depressing.

The game stalls were repetitive.

The food stalls had some interesting foods, although lacking in variety. (To be fair, it could have been due to the rain, so less stores had set up and lesser food options were available.)
