Long way to Harley.
I am seaman and biker. I drive Honda. My job has lead me to Taichung for some days. I wanted to rent a bike (of course, motorcycle, not f*ing bicycle). The long way has been started from Wuqi District by walking... The most of rental centers offer only scooters, scooter is not motorcycle, imho. Finally I have visited one center, they have good motorcycles, but there I was explained, that if you want to drive motor above 250 cc - first of all get a Local license. Centers, which I have visited, could provide me a 125cc motor, but for one year, otherwise they are not interested to cooperate. I have tired to look for any other shops or rental offices, I have headed to Harley just to lookout at new motorcycles. I was tired, angry, disappointed... Entering Harley-Davidson shop 15 minutes before closing time I have done about 30 km afoot. I have warned personnel, that I'm not going to buy anything, that I'm just a gazer... They have met me with all hospitality which I didn't expect: offered me free coffee, surrounded me with care, listened my sad walker's story. After all of this they have ordered a taxi for me, explained to driver the destination. It was one of the best shop expirience, despite I have bought nothing... Now I look at Harley-Davidson motorcycles with a desire to buy one of their steel horses. These guys have made me to feel what it means... to be a part of Harley-Davidson family. Thank...
